It’s been a few years since I’ve last seen your face
Sometimes I feel I’m just taking up space
Especially since I’m not with you
If only we weren’t through

Memories and memories, what have they turned to?
When we’ve laughed, and cried, I’ve been more than blue
And at times I feel I’m worthless
This doesn’t make any sense

I remember getting lost in your eyes
Who would have thought all those feelings were lies?

I’ve loved you despite all the things that we’ve been through
But it doesn’t seem I was good enough for you
I meant every word that I said to your face
And it’s time those feelings get replaced

Spiritually, I looked up to you
All the signs showed that you were true
But you didn’t feel the same way
My springs and summers turned grey

Holding your hand is what I'm missing
All that’s left is reminiscing
When I sleep, you're all I dream of
I guess that’s what they call love
